Douglas Fir

 (Pseudotsuga Menziesii):

The Douglas Fir is a popular Christmas tree because of it’s rounded shape and straight trunk. It has short soft blue-green needles and is moderately fast growing with a maturity height of 60 feet. It grows best in moist, well-drained soil in shade or light sun and can be used for windbreaks and wildlife.
